Commerce Teacher (2026 permanent full-time)

Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1900 students with 160 teaching and support staff combined.

We are seeking an innovative and passionate Commerce teacher to join our well-resourced, supportive, and collaborative Commerce Faculty. Candidates should have a strong commitment to academic excellence and an enthusiasm for the future of Commerce in education.  Subject knowledge across all Commerce subjects would be an advantage.

This is a full-time permanent position to commence Term 1, 2026. 

The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
