Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1800 students with 150 teaching and support staff combined.

Candidates should have a strong commitment to academic excellence and an enthusiasm for the future of Commerce in education. Experience teaching Senior Economics is an advantage.

This is a full-time permanent position to commence Term 4, 2024 or Term 1, 2025. We may be able to support with school house accommodation, suitable for families and individuals, at a modest rate.
Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA): www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements
Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of$59,027 and top rate of $99,216. Hours of work will be full-time as set out in the STCA.
