Our Social Sciences Approach
At Long Bay College Geography sits within a wider team of Social Science subjects - History, Classical Studies, Psychology, Sociology, and Tourism. These subjects, all taught at senior levels build upon the foundations laid by our excellent Junior Social Science programme. Our courses reflect the vibrancy of the Social Science learning area and the deep subject knowledge held by our team. Our courses are carefully designed to allow students to engage critically across a range of domains.

The terms and conditions of this position, including base salary and hours of work, are governed by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and teaching experience. An individual’s actual base salary will be determined through a formal salary assessment once an appointment is confirmed.
