Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school
located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay
Village. The school opened in 1975 and has over 2000 students and approximately 170
teaching and support staff combined.
We are seeking enthusiastic itinerant teachers to support
our 2026 music programme in the following areas:
These roles have the ability to be combined or to be
separate. Please state your preference in your cover letter.
- Vocals – 4 contact hours
- Drums – 4 contact hours
- Piano – 4.5 contact hours
- Strings – 4 contact hours
- Bass – 2 contact hours
These positions are to commence as soon as possible. They require the
preparation and ability to prepare students from beginners to Level 3 NCEA.
All potential candidates need to hold either a current
teacher registration or limited authority to teach (LAT).
