Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1900 students with 160 teaching and support staff combined.

An exciting opportunity is available for an outstanding teacher. This is a full-time permanent position due to roll growth.

As a college we offer specialist Mathematics, Numeracy, Calculus and Statistics courses. This includes timetabled class focused on students achieving NZQA Scholarship in both Calculus and Statistics.

The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. An individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

New graduate teachers may be eligible for a pre-tax payment of $10,500 through the Voluntary Bonding Scheme, subject to conditions.
