Long
Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location
near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and
has approximately 1800 students with 150 teaching and support staff combined.
We
are seeking an innovative and passionate Visual Arts teacher to join our
well-resourced, supportive, and collaborative Visual Arts Faculty team.
Candidates should have a strong commitment to academic excellence and an
enthusiasm for Arts education. Please state your Visual Arts subject
specialist strengths.
Candidates
should place a high value on research informed pedagogy and curriculum design.

This is a full-time permanent position to commence Term 1, 2025.
Contract
and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’
Collective Agreement (STCA): www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements
Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate
of $59,027 and top rate of $99,216. Hours of work will be full-time as set out
in the STCA.
